Foxfire Ranch is located in Waterford, Mississippi, about 3/4 mile west of Rt. 7, a two-lane highway connecting Holly Springs (10 miles to the north) and Oxford (20 miles to the south).
Foxfire owner Bill Hollowell has generously agreed to allow on-site camping for the duration of our event. (The camping area will open at 12 noon on Friday and will close by early afternoon on Monday. You MUST be pre-registered for HCH in order to claim a campsite on Friday.) The charge is $10/night, CASH ONLY, payable to Bill Hollowell or his designated representative when you arrive. The main campground is a large, flat, grassy area that is somewhat secluded and is a two-minute walk from the stage. There's also lots of acreage adjacent to the stage; most of it is gently sloping, but some of it is fine for camping. There's also parking space in this upper area for those with campers.
Please note: This is primitive camping! There are NO hookups. But there are clean, serviceable men's and women's bathrooms up at the pavilion, and a couple of outdoor showers. Those who choose to camp on-site should understand that we are dealing with crazed harmonica players here, some of whom will surely want to jam on after the "formal" program has concluded at 12 midnight. We do NOT have a "quiet-time" policy, although we'll encourage after-hours jammers to congregate up at the pavilion if there are objections from on-site campers who would prefer to sleep.
If you're not planning on camping on-site during Hill Country Harmonica, you'll probably want to stay at one of the following:
